Pertamina Oil Terminal Kendari is a private marine oil terminal owned by PT. Pertamina (Persero) – Marketing Operation Region VII, and operated by Pertamina Marine Region VII Kendari. The terminal has one berth (jetty) capable of unloading tanker vessels carrying Premium/Pertamax, Solar (HSD), and Avtur.

This booklet is addressed to Masters, owners, operators, and agents of vessels calling at Pertamina Oil Terminal Kendari. It provides minimum requirements for safe, pollution-free cargo transfer operations. It does not relieve the vessel or Master of responsibility for safe berthing, mooring, and sailing. Vessels not complying with requirements may be denied berthing or asked to leave.

Contractors on the berth are required to use a hard hat, safety shoes, coverall, and life vest.
Smoking is prohibited within the entire terminal property.
Vessels are subject to Terminal Safety Inspection; failure to pass may result in the vessel being asked to leave the berth.
Vessels must plug all scuppers and drains before transfer; the terminal maintains containment booms and oil spill response equipment.
Vessels must maintain radio communication with the terminal on VHF/UHF Channel 09, with hourly radio checks during operations.
Approach angle ? 5°, approach velocity ? 0.3 knots (? 0.19 knots for Berth No. 1); hand steering required, auto-pilot prohibited.
No alcohol, illegal drugs, or firearms are allowed within the terminal, except those carried by authorized law enforcement.
Access is limited to personnel, crew, pre-approved contractors, government agencies, agents, and inspectors; visitor lists must be submitted 24 hours in advance.
Triggered by oil release, fire, communication failure, or major incidents; signaled by a prolonged siren/whistle of at least 60 seconds.
Long-sleeve shirt, safety helmet, and safety shoes required; no walking through tank areas; no photography; minimum 50% of crew must remain onboard.
