PPE Requirement

Mandatory PPE per Pertamina HSSE standards for all personnel entering the jetty area: 1. Safety Helmet 2. Coverall 3. Safety Shoes 4. Life Jacket (mandatory in jetty and marine operational areas)

Smoking Regulation

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout all areas of Fuel Terminal Kotabaru. In addition, operating non-intrinsically safe electronic equipment is strictly forbidden.

Safety Inspection

All vessels conducting loading and unloading activities are required to: 1. Comply with ISGOTT provisions 2. Execute the Ship/Shore Safety Checklist 3. Pass the terminal safety inspection 4. Attend the Pre-Transfer Conference 5. Satisfy Pertamina Marine Terminal Safety Inspection requirements

Pollution Prevention

Communication

Operational communications are conducted using Radio VHF Channel 09 and Handheld UHF Radio (Channel 9).

Berthing Safety

The berthing process must strictly follow the guidance of the Mooring Master/Pilot, maintain a safe approach speed, and fulfill mooring requirements in accordance with terminal standards.
