Overview

PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional Terminal Khusus RU VII Kasim is a private terminal with three berths handling Pertalite, Solar B35, and Bio FAME. The seabed type is sludge, pilotage is compulsory, and the terminal maintains 10 units of marine navigation aids. Minimum mooring requirements scale with vessel size, from 3 head lines/2-2 spring/3 stern lines for 1,500–10,000 DWT vessels up to 4 head lines/3-3 spring/4 stern lines for 50,000–120,000 DWT vessels.

Port Regulations

PPE Requirement

All personnel must wear safety helmet, safety shoes, coverall, life vest, and eye protector while on the berth.

Smoking Regulation

Smoking is prohibited except in designated areas within the terminal.

Wind Limits

Cargo operations must stop at 25 knots; cargo hose/loading arm disconnected at 30 knots; vessel must unberth at 35 knots.

Communication

Vessels must confirm arrival with Kasim Marine Operation Station (VHF Ch 09) at least 8 hours before arrival and 3 hours before departure, and with Pertamina Pilotage Station (VHF Ch 12).

Berthing Safety

Vessels must approach the dock at approximately 6 degrees, with contact speed not exceeding 0.139 m/s; "Hand Steering" required (auto-pilot prohibited without terminal permission).

Terminal Security

Access is strictly limited to personnel, vessel crews, and pre-approved visitors; contractor/visitor lists must be submitted 24 hours prior to vessel arrival.
