Port Regulations

PPE Requirement

Berthing/unberthing maneuvers not conducted in winds exceeding 30 knots; maximum safe operation wind limit is 30 knots.

Communication

Vessel PIC must maintain radio contact on VHF Channel 09; hourly radio checks required.

Pilotage Requirement

Compulsory for vessels above 500 GT; embarked in the vicinity of Parepare Bay.

Berthing Safety

Hand steering mandatory when approaching the terminal; use of autopilot prohibited without terminal permission.

Drugs, Alcohol & Firearms

Prohibited within terminal property; vessels must maintain a compliant drugs and alcohol policy per OCIMF guidelines.
