Overview

Port Gorontalo is a private petroleum terminal operated by PT Pertamina Port & Logistics to support fuel distribution throughout the Gorontalo Supply Point Area. Berthing operations require compulsory pilotage and tugboat assistance from Pelindo. The terminal also provides marine support facilities, firefighting systems, fresh water supply, ship agency services, and oil spill response equipment to ensure safe and efficient port operations.

Port Regulations

Pollution Prevention

The discharge of oil, chemicals, ballast water, garbage, or any other pollutants into the sea is strictly prohibited. Oil spill prevention procedures shall be implemented in accordance with terminal regulations.

Safety Inspection

All vessels must complete the Ship/Shore Safety Checklist and terminal safety inspection before commencing cargo operations.

Smoking Regulation

Smoking is strictly prohibited in operational and hazardous areas. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.

PPE Requirement

All personnel entering the terminal must wear appropriate PPE, including safety helmet, safety shoes, coveralls, gloves, and other protective equipment as required.

Communication

Continuous communication shall be maintained between the vessel, terminal operator, pilot, tugboat, and Port Authority using designated VHF radio channels.

Berthing Safety

Berthing and unberthing operations shall be conducted under compulsory pilotage with tugboat assistance in compliance with terminal safety procedures and Port Authority regulations.
