Pertamina LPG Terminal Tanjung Sekong is a private LPG marine terminal owned and operated by PT Pertamina Energy Terminal (PET) under Pertamina International Shipping – Subholding Integrated Marine Logistics. Strategically located along the Sunda Strait in Merak, Banten, the terminal serves as one of Pertamina’s primary LPG import and distribution hubs. The facility consists of three dedicated jetties capable of handling LPG loading and discharge operations for various vessel sizes while maintaining high standards of safety, operational efficiency, environmental protection, and maritime security.

Pertamina LPG Terminal Tanjung Sekong is strategically positioned on the Sunda Strait, one of Indonesia’s most important international shipping routes. The terminal is equipped with three dedicated LPG jetties featuring modern Marine Loading Arms (MLA), Emergency Release Couplings (ERC), gangway systems, and advanced berthing facilities designed to ensure safe and efficient cargo transfer operations. Capable of handling vessels from small LPG carriers to Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC), the terminal operates in accordance with international maritime safety, environmental protection, and security standards to support reliable and efficient LPG logistics throughout Indonesia.
