Port Kasim Marine (KMT)

Kasim Marine Terminal is a crude oil export terminal located on the Sele Strait, owned by SKK Migas and operated by Petrogas (Basin) Ltd. ("THE COMPANY"). Built in 1975 and operational since June 1976, the terminal exports Walio Mix Crude Oil (WMCO).

Overview

Kasim Marine Terminal is a crude oil loading terminal on the Sele Strait, exporting Walio Mix Crude Oil (approx. 36.5° API) via Chiksan Loading Arms (16" ANSI 150# camlock flange and/or 12" flexible hose) at a loading rate of approximately 10,000 barrels per hour. A Mooring Master boards each vessel in the anchorage area to guide passage, mooring, and unmooring. Two harbour tugboats (4,000 HP and 3,600 HP) and mooring launches (M.B. "Kirsteen" and M.B. "Gillian") are stationed at the terminal.
