Port Regulations

PPE Requirement

All personnel entering the operational area shall wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a safety helmet, safety shoes, coveralls, and a life vest, in accordance with Pertamina Marine Tahuna safety policy.

Smoking Regulation

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the terminal premises and operational areas.

Safety Inspection

All vessels must comply with Pertamina regulations, applicable maritime laws, and ISGOTT requirements. Ship/Shore Safety Inspection shall be completed and approved before cargo transfer operations commence

Pollution Prevention

The terminal is equipped with oil spill response equipment and containment booms. Any pollution incident shall be reported immediately, cargo operations shall cease, and response procedures shall be initiated before operations resume.

Communication

Continuous communication between ship and shore shall be maintained using VHF Channel 09. Alternative communication methods shall be agreed upon prior to cargo operations if radio communication becomes unavailable.

Berthing Safety

Vessels shall approach the berth at an angle of 5 degrees or less with an approach speed not exceeding 0.3 knots. Hand steering is mandatory during berthing, and all vessels shall comply with the terminal’s minimum mooring requirements throughout cargo operations.
