Depot Mini LPG Amurang

Depot Mini LPG Amurang is an LPG receiving, storage, and distribution terminal operated by PT Elnusa Petrofin. The facility is located in Sapa Barat Village, Tenga District, South Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi. It was built in 2015 with a storage capacity of 2 × 1,000 MT and supports LPG distribution throughout North Sulawesi. The terminal is equipped with one LPG jetty connected to the storage facility through dedicated liquid and vapor pipelines.

Overview

Depot Mini LPG Amurang is strategically located on the coast of South Minahasa and serves as an LPG distribution hub for North Sulawesi. The facility receives LPG by sea through Jetty I and distributes the product via tank trucks. The terminal is equipped with automated PLC control systems to improve operational reliability and safety. The facility supports the national LPG conversion program and provides a safer and more efficient supply chain for the surrounding region.

Port Regulations

PPE Requirement

All personnel entering the terminal must wear mandatory PPE including a safety helmet, safety shoes, coverall, life vest, safety glasses, and identification card.

Smoking Regulation

Smoking is strictly prohibited within all operational areas of Depot Mini LPG Amurang.

Safety Inspection

All vessels must successfully complete terminal safety inspections and comply with ISGOTT requirements before cargo transfer operations commence.

Pollution Prevention

Cargo transfer operations shall comply with ISGOTT recommendations. Any leakage or pollution must be reported immediately, and cargo transfer shall be stopped until the situation is safely resolved.

Communication

Terminal operations use VHF Channel 09. Continuous communication between ship and shore is mandatory throughout cargo transfer operations.

Berthing Safety

Pilotage is compulsory. Vessel approach speed shall not exceed 0.3 knots, and all berthing operations shall follow terminal mooring requirements and safety procedures.
