Port Kalabahi handles fuel product distribution for the Alor region through a single jetty berth. Pilotage is not compulsory, and the terminal has not yet completed ISPS Code compliance certification.

All personnel are required to use appropriate PPE according to terminal safety provisions.
Vessels are subject to safety inspection prior to berthing.
Oil-spill response equipment must be on standby during cargo operations.
Vessels must maintain radio contact with the terminal (VHF Channels 16 and 9).
Mooring and berthing follow terminal safety procedure under port authority supervision.
