The terminal serves as a strategic LNG import and regasification facility equipped with a Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU), offshore receiving facilities, subsea pipelines, and supporting marine infrastructure. It provides safe and efficient ship-to-ship LNG transfer and regasification operations while complying with international maritime safety standards.

Overview

STS Maringgai is an offshore LNG terminal operated by PT PGN LNG Indonesia. The facility receives LNG cargo via Ship-to-Ship transfer, stores LNG onboard the Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU), and regasifies LNG into natural gas before distributing it to the onshore gas network.
