PetroChina LPG FSO PETROSTAR is a floating terminal for LPG storage and distribution, serving Propane and Butane exports. The terminal features integrated FSO systems, communication, operational controls, and safety equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable loading. All berthing maneuvers are conducted under Mooring Master supervision following strict navigation and safety procedures.
Mandatory standard PPE (helmet, shoes, coverall, gloves) for all personnel; life jackets are strictly required when working at sea or on the jetty.
Smoking, open flames, and heat sources are strictly prohibited terminal-wide and onboard; violations will result in immediate shutdown of operations.
Joint safety inspections using the Ship/Shore Safety Checklist by the Terminal Representative, Mooring Master, and vessel are mandatory before operations.
Discharging oil, ballast, waste, or chemicals into the sea is forbidden; compliance with MARPOL and terminal environmental regulations is mandatory.
Continuous communication must be maintained via Marine VHF Channel 71 with the Mooring Master and Terminal Superintendent; unauthorized radio use will halt operations.
Operations must be supervised by the Mooring Master; vessels must deploy standard ladders, emergency towing wires (bow/stern), and maintain secure mooring.
All mooring and unmooring maneuvers must follow Mooring Master directions, while the Master retains full responsibility for vessel safety.
LPG loading requires berthing approval, successful safety inspections, certified cargo tanks, and signed operational documents, with continuous watch maintained.
In case of fire, gas leaks, or spills, all operations must stop immediately; crew must follow the Terminal Superintendent and Mooring Master's emergency procedures.
A strict 1 Nautical Mile exclusion zone is enforced around the LPG FSO PETROSTAR; only authorized vessels and personnel may enter.
