Port Regulations

PPE Requirement

Full PPE (safety helmet, coverall, safety shoes, gloves, and life jacket for CBM/onboard operations) is mandatory for all personnel in operational areas.

Smoking Regulation

Smoking, open flames, and hot work are strictly prohibited unless authorized by an official Permit to Work (PTW).

Safety Inspection

Vessels must complete the SSCL prior to cargo transfer, verifying vessel readiness, communications, safety equipment, grounding, hose connections, and emergency procedures.

Pollution Prevention

Discharging oil, sludge, ballast, waste, or garbage into the sea is strictly prohibited. Any oil spill must be reported immediately to the Terminal Representative and contained using Oil Spill Response Equipment (OSRE).

Communication

Continuous Marine VHF Radio communication must be maintained between the vessel, Terminal Representative, and Pilot during berthing and cargo transfer.

Berthing Safety

Conventional Buoy Mooring (CBM) operations must strictly follow instructions from the Pilot, KSOP (Harbour Master), and Terminal Representative, ensuring mooring arrangements are fully secured before transfer begins.
