Overview

Pertamina Oil Terminal Poso is a private terminal owned by PT Pertamina (Persero) – Marketing Operation Region VII and operated by Pertamina Marine Region VII Poso. The terminal operates 24 hours a day, supported by a lighthouse (Mercusuar) for night navigation, and serves the discharge of Premium/Pertamax and Solar (HSD).

Port Regulations

Berthing Safety

The docking, mooring, and sailing processes follow the terminal's requirements: approach angle no more than 5 degrees, contact velocity not exceeding 0.19–0.3 knots, and mandatory hand steering (autopilot prohibited without permission).

Pollution Prevention

Vessels must plug all scuppers and drains before transfer; the terminal maintains containment boom and oil spill response equipment/team.

Communication

Ships are required to maintain communication with the terminal via UHF radio on VHF Channel 09 at all times, with radio checks conducted every hour.

PPE Requirement

All personnel are required to use PPE (Hard Hat, Safety Shoes, Coverall, Life Vest) in accordance with the Pertamina Marine Poso policy while on the berth.

Safety Inspection

A Ship/Shore Safety Check List must be completed jointly with a ship's officer by the Pertamina Marine Inspector, in accordance with ISGOTT requirements.

Smoking Regulation

Smoking is prohibited within the terminal property.
